Myspace Gone?

On Friday, while at work, the one designer (Jen) was freaking out because MySpace was saying that many profiles were deleted. She thought that they were deleting the entire website.

In honor of her stupidity and dependency on a silly website, today's video is all about Myspace.

TMNT

There is a trailer for the new Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Movie up on Apples website. I just checked it out and feel that they made the turtles too skinny and sickly looking. (They even kind of remind me of Gex from the classic video game series). Are these super thin turtles going to give fat children across the world a new outlook on life? Should their daily regiment now consist of eat, vomit, and fight crime? Post your thoughts.

Scene boys...

Here is a classic from several years ago that does a good job of making fun of hardcore/scene kids. Well worth the watch. Woot! Rock!

Mac Vs. PC ads

While looking for inspiration for my latest video project, I came across this ridiculuosly pointless Mac Vs. PC ad. Its 11 seconds of pure bliss.

Changes in the works.....

Recently I came up with some some very unique ideas to help enhance
this website. Please (in comment form) let me know what you think.

In the not so distant future I plan on embedding all the videos from
YouTube straight on this website. This will make things much easier
for visitors as you will not need to click through links to check out
what I think is cool and exciting.

I also plan on creating a submit video section. Readers will be able
to submit links (and maybe upload videos) for review. Only the really
notable ones will make it to the front page. Front page submissions
will be rewarded somehow (possibly a free t-shirt) once everything
gets finalized.

I also would like to host some of the classic Entropy Pictures videos
on here. The Blind Guy sketches are coming back!! This site will also
serve as a gateway for any and everything Entropy Pictures related.
This Entropy Pictures hosting also means that the interface and
graphical layout will get a complete makeover.

My final plan of action includes a shortened URL. I know the
current one (www.johnyogodzinski.blogspot.com) is rather hard on the
eyes and gives many of you carpel tunnel. I came up with a few unique
names but unfortunately they are all registered pornography ,
gambling, or other weird sites. If you have any URL suggestions
please let me know and I'll look into it.

By the way, the names that I came up with were vidspot.com;
vidhunter.com; videospot.com; videospace.com; videohunter.com;
vidspace.com; videoportal.com. Basically I'd like a .com URL that
uses the word vid or video in conjunction with some sort of location
or sense of getting people to the video content. Please post your
suggestions and keep checking back for more updates.

My Plans for July 7, 2006

Tomorrow I am going to see An Albatross with the lovely Ms. Trish Kromer at Cafe Metropolis. In honor of this glorious event, tonight's videos show some sexy dancing, amazing singing, and Wilkes Barre native, Phillip tickling the ivorys.

Ok, I'm done. See you at the show!

Most Viewed Video of All Time

For those that haven't seen it yet, this is the most viewed YouTube video of all time. At the time of this post it had 27,639,165 views. Quite impressive considering the video has only been up for 2 months.

As far as a description is concerned, it features a baldheaded dancing man that goes through how the art of dance has evolved over time.

Independence Day

Happy 4th of July everyone! I hope your holiday is going well.

Anyways, in honor of this great day in history, I have decided to post numerous links to various firework related websites and videos.

The first one shows what not to do with Roman candles as two kids wage war with each other. As a reminder, do not try this at home.

The second video is somewhat old, but shows what happens when a fireworks factory catches fire. Quite a scary situation for the cameraman.

My final videos for today demonstrate what can be accomplished with a butt-ton of money, time, and fireworks. The first involves nearly 45,000 bottle rockets and the second launches 3.2 million firecrackers from one fuse. Talk about insane.

NOTE: If you are afraid of fireworks or are not allowed to play with fire, you can always try the Diet Coke and Mentos trick.

Piracy on Wikipedia

I frequently find myself using Wikipedia as a source whenever I do a research paper. As you may know, the site can be edited by anyone and everyone so it is not 100% clear as to how valid the data is. Read the second paragraph for a good laugh. (It was edited out by a Wikipedia user within less than a day).

Check it out.

Spongebob Does Metal

Here is a video that the guys at work showed me one day. It features
a kick ass metal song with Spongebob clips dubbed over it.

New Blog

Welcome to my new blog. I know many of you used to read my Live Journal to see whats going on in my life, but those days are over. I am retiring that piece of the inter-web (though I will still read other peoples entries) and am moving onto this new site. Basically, on a day-to-day basis I will post links to various humorous and informative things that I find on the internet. They will also appear in my AIM away message. Feel free to view and comment on any of these findings.

Also stay tuned as I may even include photo entries and much much more.
